Dubstep isn't for your everyday. Somedays I'm feelin it, somedays I'm not, I have to be feeling it. If I'm studying and the dude next to me is blasting Skrillex, I'm not feeling it, it sounds like a robot brain invasion. Somedays though, it can really hit the spot, especially that soft dub, the dub that isn't all about the womp but more like a trance song on steroids. Found this guy the other day, and it's been growing on me ever since. Killagraham does a pretty dope remix of Kid Cudi's "Cudi Zone". Pretty sure Mr. Solo Dolo himself would jam out to this one. Enjoy killas.

What I tell you about these rappers!?
Ahh Thanksgiving, the most gratifying of commercial holidays. It only pains me that everything is closed and for once I have to sit with myself. It's times like these, I thank God for the internet. And cable television.
Last night, I watched a program called Seductive Subversion: Female Pop Artists 1958-1968 on Ovation. Has anyone ever heard of this network? I was sort of wondering if the name was a play on the words- ovary and nation. Annyyyhow, some of the artists work featured include: Pauline Boty, Marjorie Strider, Marisol and Martha Rosler.. and boy, are they seductive..
More on the exhibition, can be found here.
So now that you got the bird's eye view on late night television.....I've been revisiting Santogold a Diplo Dub with much reliance these past few days. I don't know why but perhaps it has something to do with the post punk phase I'm going through, not to mention her collaborations with self-proclaimed "lonely stoner," Kid Cudi and N.E.R.D's Pharrell Williams. Did you know she also co-wrote Lily Allen's Littlest Things with Ronson? One of my all-time faavorites...
Santogold - I'm A Lady (Diplo Mix Ft Amanda Blank)
Santogold - You'll Find A Way (Switch & Graeme Sinden Remix)
Signing off to go see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. ! in Imax (sorry, Kade) Just gotta say thanks to my family and friends and colleagues for putting up with me. Now go eat some turkey or cranberry or flan or wtfever. And remember, don't be an ungrateful punk.
